Smart Livestock Farming in Qazvin; A Major Step in the Digital Transformation of Iran’s Dairy Industry
As part of the smart livestock development roadmap in Qazvin Province, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 (21 Bahman 1404), the pilot project “Smart Animal Identification” was successfully implemented and launched in one of the province’s dairy farms through tripartite cooperation between:
- The Union of Agricultural Livestock Cooperative Companies
- Rasa Green Micro Systems Company
- Modiran Tahlilgar Sepahan Company
Section 1 – Successful Implementation of Smart Livestock Pilot in Qazvin
In this project, 160 cows were connected to the smart herd management software system in less than two hours. This achievement demonstrates the high speed and efficiency of modern technologies in smart livestock farming and can serve as a successful model for other farmers across the country.
Section 2 – Benefits of the Smart Animal Identification System
This innovative project provides numerous benefits to livestock industry stakeholders, including:
