Introduction Course to Modiran 10 Software (Web Version)
The free training course for Modiran 10, developed by Modiran Company, was held in several sessions on May 1 and May 8, with the participation of livestock industry professionals and experts. The course was organized with the following objectives:
- Enhancing users’ specialized knowledge
- Introducing the new capabilities of the software and developing modern data-driven management approaches in livestock farms
- Emphasizing the necessity of moving toward smart livestock farming due to reduced costs, increased productivity, and the growing need for artificial intelligence in livestock operations
- Providing an overview of collective operations, herd operations, features, settings, and new functionalities added compared to the previous system
- Reviewing the topics discussed in previous sessions
- Answering online questions
During this course, participants became familiar with the new sections of Modiran Company’s herd management software. The main training topics included:
- New herd management ideas
- Introduction to the report-building section
- Introduction to the database guide section and how to use it for report generation and smart analysis
- Methods for exporting entered data and monitoring and managing herds remotely
The sessions also emphasized the importance of using up-to-date information for:
- Managerial decision-making
- Better monitoring of livestock production performance
- Simple and user-friendly reporting without complexity
Based on the registration data for the Modiran 10 introductory course (web version), a wide and diverse range of users from different regions and professional fields joined the program.
Geographical Diversity: Participation from Across Iran
The data shows that users actively participated from all regions of the country.
- The highest participation rates belonged to Isfahan and Razavi Khorasan provinces, accounting for around 20% of all participants.
- Tehran Province ranked second with nearly 17% participation.
- Significant participation was also recorded from Qazvin Province with approximately 12%, reflecting the rapid expansion of smart farming activities in various regions.
- Other participants joined from provinces such as Yazd, Hamedan, Markazi, and other parts of the country.
Job Titles: From Specialized Users to Executive Managers
Analysis of participants’ job positions revealed a highly diverse professional mix:
- A large portion of users (approximately 47%) were statisticians and data users.
- Around 12% were managers in areas such as Production Management, IT Management, Research & Development Management, and Commercial Management.
- Approximately 11.7% were livestock specialists, including nutrition experts, reproduction specialists, laboratory supervisors, animal science experts, and others.
- About 7% were livestock farm owners.
- Financial specialists also participated in the course.
This diversity demonstrates the practical value of the course for operational environments.
According to information published on the company’s website, Modiran Company’s herd management software enables intelligent livestock data registration, allowing users to access information such as pedigree, birth, estrus, insemination, calving, diseases, and other key records at any time. In addition, the use of accurate and comprehensive reports supports more precise managerial decision-making in livestock farms, which can lead to increased profitability and reduced costs.
Based on the survey conducted after the course, participation and استقبال were significant, with 8 out of 10 invited individuals attending the program. According to the results, the overall quality of the classes was considered satisfactory.
