Smart Animal Husbandry Seminar at Isfahan University of Technology
On December 12, 1404, a seminar on smart animal husbandry was held at Isfahan University of Technology.
This seminar aimed to improve students’ knowledge about smartization and how to use it by the Animal Science Association of Isfahan University of Technology, the Vice-Chancellor of Cultural and Social Affairs of the University, and Sepahan Analyst Managers Company.
More than 40 students and professors participated in this event, and key topics in the field of artificial intelligence, applications of smart animal husbandry, and its results were discussed.
This scientific seminar was designed with six main approaches:
- Understanding the fundamental changes in the industry and the history of smartization
- Examining the structures and understanding the hardware and software components in livestock management
- Getting to know smart livestock farming and its applications
- Understanding smartization tools and technologies
- Displaying the results of smartization and the application and necessity of implementing smart livestock farming
- Introducing the job market
Some of the topics covered in this seminar include:
- The basic principle of smart livestock farming is information.
- In today’s world, traditional or even industrial management is no longer enough. Today, we are on the verge of a major transformation, and this change is not only a technical advancement but also a practical roadmap to achieve lower costs and higher profits. This cycle allows livestock farmers to anticipate problems and identify the key goal for maximizing profitability.
- Also, referring to the changes in recent years in the fields of human resources and climate, the main reason for our focus on the development and use of livestock data over the past five years has been the real need of the industry, a need that inevitably leads industrial livestock farming towards smart livestock farming.
- Investing in smart livestock farming is investing in a sustainable future
Also, in this course, it was explained how Sepahan Analyst Managers Company supports research projects in universities and encourages students to do research and study in this field.
